Biography:

DJ Mocha Love, aka Prem Nichani, was born in Toronto, Canada. He is currently in his third year of Health Sciences and hopes to pursue his goal of becoming a doctor of paediatric medicine. However, during his spare time, he likes listening to music. On August 1st, 2010, DJ Mocha Love began his DJ career with a laptop, DJ software, and speakers at a sweet sixteen birthday party. He was complimented by many of the guests at the party and he loved the experience of controlling the crowd. That following Christmas, DJ Mocha Love asked his parents for a computer DJ controller on which he worked on mixing and scratching skills.

DJ Mocha Love started to receive many requests to perform at birthday parties, weddings, anniversaries and all the like. However, he was very critical of his mixing skills and he felt that he could improve. DJ Mocha Love went to a Canadian music store to buy some more DJ equipment to enhance his performances. It was on that day that he met DJ Shine, the current live Ableton producer and DJ of Nelly Furtado. DJ Shine has also worked for Jully Black, Drake, Ke$ha, and Kreesha Turner in the past as well as the record label Nice and Smooth. Upon meeting DJ Shine, DJ Mocha Love took a few lessons to continue to refine his mixing and scratching skills.

DJ Mocha Love has made an appearance at various different events since including weddings, birthday parties, Christmas parties, wedding anniversaries, high school dances, and semi formals. In addition, he is a student at an introductory DJ course at Scratch Lab DJ Institute in Toronto and attended a part-time DJ and music production class at a premier DJ institute in Toronto, The Music Boxx, where he has polished his House, Electro, Hip Hop, Dub Step, and Top 40/Mainstream mixing skills.
